The resort was developed as a complex facility by a kimono maker, and offers the beauties of the seasons in its garden while also providing workshops on Yuzen pattern dyeing in a textile gallery and craft hall, dining opportunities in a Japanese restaurant and terrace café, marriages in a wedding hall, games in a bowling alley and swimming in a pool.
Guide dogs are allowed so that the visually impaired can enjoy themselves at the resort.
While it would be difficult to enter the Japanese garden by wheelchair due to the gravel paths and flagstones, the garden can be viewed from the adjacent café Chabana-en. (Month checked: 2018.Dec, )
